About the Commercial Finance Team

As part of TalkTalk's wider Group Finance Team, you'll work as part of a team of like-minded Finance Business Partners, with whom you'll work closely and will share a passion for growing and optimising the financial and commercial outcomes in our Consumer business. Your role will require you to work collaboratively with Commercial colleagues as a valued and trusted advisor and provide support and challenge to their initiatives and opportunities. You will work closely with other finance colleagues across TalkTalk to ensure delivery of timely and high-quality reporting and analysis.

About the Role

As Senior Commercial Finance Analyst - Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing & reporting trading performance. Harnessing data & insights from across the organisation to advise stakeholders on the projected CLV (customer lifetime value) & other lead KPI's for both actual and planned performance. You'll be a valued and trusted advisor in supporting the Head of Commercial Finance to business partner key Consumer Leadership stakeholders. Your role will provide high-quality analysis and clearly and concisely explain key reporting and insight on customer lifetime value.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

• Business partner to the Value Hub team, providing insightful reporting and analysis to support them in delivering business improvements and key initiatives.
• Ownership and production of a weekly CLV dataset / report, feeding KPI's & commentary into relevant trading packs for periodic review
• Consumer finance lead on the on-going development to TalkTalk's CVM database & reporting suite, partnering with the Value Hub team & external developers
• Ownership/production of budgeted CLV metrics, converting financial plans into trading metrics
• Clear articulation of current performance, accurate forecasting of future performance, and value add analysis to support decision making and drive profitable growth.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders within the trading & commercials teams to ensure your stakeholders understand their financial performance, allowing them to optimise performance and deliver against their financial and strategic targets.
• Work alongside the Data teams and wider business to improve data quality & subsequently the accuracy of our CLV reporting
• Critical member of the Commercial Finance team providing support and cover for the Senior Finance Manager when required.

About You

Must Have:

• Excellent analytical and advanced Excel skills
• Experience in dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Presentation skills to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical and commercial skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
• Experience of using Power BI or other data visualisation tools would be an advantage

Be great to also have:

• Part/Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Business Partnering / Stakeholder Management experience
