What you'll do

In this client focused role, you'll be making sure that our clients' financial needs are met and that they receive an outstanding service as you provide thorough and comprehensive advice on our regulated private banking products and services. You'll be valued for your expertise on these, using it to upskill advisers to ensure they deliver a great client experience and maximise the effectiveness of our regulated private banking client proposition.

Your role will also involve:

  • Delivering regulated private banking products to help us to achieve our overall sustainable credit growth and profitability targets

  • Providing guidance to coverage teams in respect of regulated private banking products, particularly with larger and more complex deals
  • Providing end-to-end transaction support which balances the needs of our clients, commercial aspirations and broader stakeholder demands, including analysing large and complex transactions

Relationship building with our clients and stakeholders is key in this role, so we'll need you to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience of building relationships with credit functions and banking communities at a local and regional level within a large organisation.

As well as this, you'll demonstrate:

  • Strong commercial acumen
  • An understanding of financial markets, including key drivers for changes in price volatility, investment products and collateral analysis
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to simplify complex and conflicting tasks and policy positions, making sure that these are effectively managed and communicated
  • Experience of relevant policies, regulatory obligations and risk management of regulated private banking products
