Join us as a Supplier Assurance Manager
What you'll do
You'll be playing a key part in leading an effective and efficient global assurance function, meeting all policy standard owner, legal and regulatory requirements, and expectations.
Additionally, you'll look to develop and improve assurance processes, procedures, and scheduling methodologies, to make sure that the global methodology and supporting processes are consistent, up-to-date, and fully aligned with our bank's policy framework, and any respective legal or regulatory requirements.

The skills you'll need
You'll have experience of working in, and knowledge of, a risk and controls environment, along with an understanding of the Operational Risk Handbook. You'll also have a background in assurance and risk management methodologies and experience of working in an Audit, Assurance, or Risk function.
Ideally, you'll hold a technical or audit qualification, such as CISA or CISSP.
On top of this, you'll need:

What you'll do

Other key requirements include:
- Leading and supporting the development and delivery of the annual risk-based assurance programme, confirming that key policies and controls have been effectively implemented
- Managing a team of highly technical experts focusing on assessing the risks and controls inherent within complex third-party supply chains and ensuring that these are made transparent to both service and policy owners
- Coaching and helping the team to develop their technical and assurance skills
- Developing and implementing integrated system solutions that drive efficiency savings, including the potential to utilise external assurance solutions to reduce cost
- Articulating control weaknesses, risks, and potential remediation in a formal written report that's suitable for senior stakeholders
- Driving a proactive risk culture which seeks to constantly evolve third-party risk management best practices
