The purpose of this role is to provide high quality finance solutions in support of the achievement of strategic business objectives through proactive Finance business partnering. Finance Business Partners will build a credible productive partnership with the Operational Business. This role will also maintain links to the central finance teams in terms of forecasting and budgetary control.

The role provides widespread exposure and insight to the Digital organisation and therefore the right candidate will need to build considerable networks, both within Finance and cross-functionally. The role will involve developing a strong working relationship with the wider business, partnering Domain (Digital functional) leads to spotlight future opportunities for Digital, looking for solutions, challenging operations on their delivery and holding them to account, being engaged in making informed business decisions with a one team mindset and reporting on progress against action plans to target and leading change within the business.

It is important that the successful candidate can drive the role forward independently and forge long term relationships within the business.

WHAT TO EXPECT

As the Finance Business Partner Manager - Digital, you'll be responsible for:
• Network and proactively partner Digital Domain leads and their teams to ensure we deliver finance solutions to support the short- and long-term strategic direction of the business
• Must engender a positive working style with natural level of gravitas and credibility, able to build confidence
and influence non finance professionals whilst demonstrating the requisite level of drive and ambition.
• Generate optimal business cases, prepare financial analysis and present financial information such as Fiscal Year and strategic forecasts, targets and route maps focussing on delivering total business performance
• Review contract renewal proposals, ensure financial considerations understood and reporting requirements adhered to (contingencies, commitments etc)
• Deliver World Class processes incl. consistent and robust financial reports to operational and senior stakeholders to inform key business decision making and strategic business planning, working collaboratively with the Management Information and Analytics (MI&A) team to improve processes and reporting capability.
• Work collaboratively with the Digital operational teams and HR to manage, record and deliver against Headcount targets
• Attend and represent Digital Finance at key forums - including Digital Leadership Team, Digital Approval Committee (DTAC), Investment Board (IC), Non Prod Investment Committee (NPIC), Authority to Hire (ATH)
• Act as a subject matter expert keeping stakeholders and managers informed, identifying opportunities to share knowledge to upskill colleagues
• Support the Head of Finance by undertaking any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
• Lead and motivate direct reports by setting clear priorities, objectives and development opportunities - ensure Growth plans for all
• Drive and embed Creators code and principles.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:
• Proven Finance Business Partner experience ideally gained within a large, complex organisation with good communication, mediation and influencing skills
• Sound financial and commercial business acumen shown through evidence of developing, introducing new or innovative practices/processes in support of strategic business goals.
• Exceptional numerical, analytical skills supported by advanced communication and presentation skills - used to translate financial issues for operational teams, identify anomalies and interpret implications
• Ability to multi-task, work accurately at speed and under pressure balancing delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery
• Strong analytical background, project management and delivery skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred

Desirable:
• Proven Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop and nurture relationships internally operations and externally with suppliers
• Continuous improvement 'mind set' with the ability to identify and implement robust solutions and enhancements
• Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel
• CIMA or ACCA qualified or working towards
