Make an impact with our Assurance & Accounting team as an Accounting Technician. Responsibilities

• Prepare compilation and review engagement files
• Work with Assurance and Accounting team to execute assignments according to an approved plan and procedures
• Complete corporate income tax returns
• Set up client files, assist with the completion of budgets and other administrative planning and completion aspects of accounting work

Skills and Experience

• Completion of an Accounting Business Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of prior firm experience
• Experience working with, or exposure to, accounting and tax software such as Caseware, TaxCycle, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting
• Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes is considered an asset
