We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Analyst to join our finance team in the fast-paced tech/e-commerce industry. As an FP&A Analyst, your primary focus will be on budgeting, financial analysis, cost allocation, finance business partnering, and financial modeling. You will play a vital role in providing accurate and insightful financial information to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis within the tech/e-commerce sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the budgeting process by collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and achievable annual operating plans and financial targets.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend identification, and scenario modeling, to provide actionable insights for business leaders.
• Perform cost allocation analyses to identify areas of cost optimization and efficiency improvements across the organization.
• Collaborate with business units to develop and maintain financial models that support business forecasting, investment analysis, and decision-making.
• Establish and maintain effective finance business partnering relationships with cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance and support for their strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas of concern.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data and assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline financial planning and reporting processes, leveraging automation and technology where applicable.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis projects and provide support to cross-functional teams as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CA/CFA/ACCA/CIMA qualified advantageous.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the tech/e-commerce industry.
• Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze financial data to derive meaningful insights.
• Sound knowledge of cost allocation methodologies and experience in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including non-financial teams.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling techniques and tools, with expertise in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL and BI tools
• Cognos TM1 or other similar FP&A Tools
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and driving efficiency.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to contribute to business growth and profitability.
