Quality & Compliance Senior / Assistant Manager

Mazars is looking out for zealous and aspiring individuals who are keen on experiencing a diversified work culture in a growing international firm.

This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct risk assessments and quality controls reviews to ensure compliance of all statutory, regulatory requirements and internal compliance requirements.
• Analyse and identify quality control gaps and validate that controls are operating effectively and timely.
• Provide recommendations to improve controls and enhance quality control standards within the firm’s service lines and practices.
• Prepare reports on quality control reviews and recommendations for improvement for management and regional QC.
• Carry out root cause analysis and monitor effectiveness of action plans to address quality and risk areas of weaknesses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accountancy or relevant
• Minimum years’ experience (3 - 4 years – Seniors or 5 - 7 years – AM and Manager) in an audit role either in a large international or professional services firm.
• Experienced in External and/or Internal audits preferred.
• Able to work independently and possess strong project management and analytical skills with the ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent presentation (for managers), written and verbal communication skills to communicate across different stakeholders.
