Accounts Assistant

Our client has a new opening for a Accounts Assistant in their Hertfordshire Office. Suitable for someone that is currently studying towards their accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/ACA/CA).

Description

As an Accounts Assistant, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

• Perform basic compliance tasks to a high standard
• Preparation of computations for review by senior staff
• Work within your own chargeable time budget

• Produce annual statutory accounts and record keeping for a number of clients
• Begin to offer advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review
• Provide support to your clients from an accounting perspective
• Communicate with HMRC
• Involvement with basic compliance, take responsibility for sections of the job
• Include VAT work
• Work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Assist in any reasonable manner with administrative tasks
• Work within your own chargeable time budget

Profile

• Actively studying towards either ACA/ACCA/CA
• We will provide you with full study support for your remaining exams including paid study leave, mentorship and coaching. Study support will be offered throughout and until you become a qualified accountant.
