Our client has a new opening for a Accounts Assistant in their Hertfordshire Office. Suitable for someone that is currently studying towards their accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/ACA/CA).

Description
As an Accounts Assistant, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
- Perform basic compliance tasks to a high standard
- Preparation of computations for review by senior staff
- Work within your own chargeable time budget
- Produce annual statutory accounts and record keeping for a number of clients
- Begin to offer advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review
- Provide support to your clients from an accounting perspective
- Communicate with HMRC
- Involvement with basic compliance, take responsibility for sections of the job
- Include VAT work
- Work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Assist in any reasonable manner with administrative tasks
- Work within your own chargeable time budget
Profile
- Actively studying towards either ACA/ACCA/CA
- We will provide you with full study support for your remaining exams including paid study leave, mentorship and coaching. Study support will be offered throughout and until you become a qualified accountant.
