We are on the hunt for a Finance Manager to deliver easyJet’s Group statutory reporting, Group statutory cash flow and monthly plc performance reporting.

Reporting to the Group Chief Accountant, this role sits within the Group Financial Reporting (GFR) team and is an integral member of the wider Group Financial Reporting & Control team.
Internally the GFR team are accountable for monthly Group management accounts, managing the month end close and CFO sign-off, producing monthly CFO reporting and AMB (Airline Management Board) and Plc performance reports. For easyJet Group’s external financial reporting the team deliver the Group statutory accounts and half year disclosure working closely with Investor Relations. A fundamental department to be a part of at easyJet.

 

The role owns the relationship with key 3rd party suppliers in our Annual Report process, engages with the external audit team, manages the Group reporting application and co-ordinates across the easyJet finance teams & business colleagues to deliver high-quality fair, balanced and understandable external financial reporting. The key to the success of this role is a focus on quality output, financial integrity, and insightful commentary. On a monthly basis the role delivers the reporting of strategic KPIs and key cash and net debt reporting. The role works alongside other GFR Finance Managers and supports the overall team output as required. A fantastic opportunity with great exposure to the business and easyJet Group.

 

What you need to do the role
To do this role you need a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3+ years post qualification experience. Significant prior experience and involvement in the annual report preparation process, including the production of financial statements, notes and disclosures (IFRS or FRS101 basis) in a controls led environment is key! The ability to build relationships and influence is a must in this role, enabling you to challenge stakeholder inputs and hold others to account for the integrity of accounting submissions. A proven record of having strong attention to detail in ensuring the accuracy of the financial accounts and supporting ledgers is an absolute must for this role. And of course, a true self- starter (and finisher), with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.

Location and Hours of Work
This full-time role is based in Luton in Hangar 89 (hybrid working) and will be 40 hours per week.
