Senior Reporting Manager

Working closely with the Finance Director and CFO, this individual will be the key contact for twice annual audit as well as a critical part of the operational finance team forming part of the future succession plan.

Description

• Leading and coordinating multiple assurance activities to assess the management and control of risk
• Ensuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with quality requirements
• Managing stakeholders, providing coaching and support, and ensuring successful delivery of results through others
• Building effective relationships, managing, and influencing key stakeholders across the business and collaborating with other teams as required
• Taking ownership and coordinating additional activities related to the management of the Audit including on-going business monitoring and production of required management information (MI) for Senior Management.
• Key liaison to the auditors during the financial year.
• Play a critical role in the operational finance function including reporting, controls and process.
• Deputise for the Finance Director.

Profile

• ACA Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
• Significant practice (audit) experience ideally to AM/SM level.
• A curious mind with a hunger for change.
• Ability to demonstrate robustness, resilience and a thorough approach.
• Working closely with financial services businesses in a TOP 10 firm would be advantageous.
• Aspirations to progress and form part of a succession plan to CFO level.
