What you will be responsible for

As Senior Client Service Operation Specialist, Officer you will be

  • Supporting the coordination and oversight of the Collateral Services daily-business processes for the appointed team
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships to clients, counterparties and other external third parties while cultivating the culture in relationship
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues
  • Subject matter expert for corporate committees and initiatives
  • Own relationship with internal and external clients
  • Developing and coaching junior team members
  • Create and maintain an engaged work environment and ensure appropriate communications channels are in place
  • Overseeing client migrations and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure successful on-boarding’s
  • Working together with clients and other internal/external parties to develop new business models
  • Supporting audits, risk assessments and compliance initiatives by providing relevant data as well as new ideas
  • Acting as oversight for outsourced tasks to our near-shoring teams while assuring accuracy and timeliness

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree with a focus on business and financial topics or comparable apprenticeship
  • More than 4 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within collateral management and/or client services
  • Experience with managing staff
  • Knowledge of financial instruments (e.g. derivatives) and the regulatory framework in regards to Collateral industry (e.g. EMIR)
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
