Exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant to join our Foreign Direct Investment team in Ennis, Co. Clare.

You will become a key part of our client service finance team that offers a high standard of financial accounting, regulatory and statutory reporting services to a broad portfolio of international business clients. You will have responsibility for delivery of accounting and compliance services to a varied portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for client companies
  • Liaising with external parties, such as auditors and tax advisors
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable management
  • Bank reconciliations Inter-company account reconciliations
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Assisting with preparation of VAT schedules
  • Assisting in client payroll preparation
  • Revenue submissions
  • PAYE/PRSI and VAT Responding to queries in a timely manner

Key Competencies/Educational/Experience Requirements

  • 2 years+ relevant practical experience in industry or practise Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance/Maths/Law (Minimum 2.2 degree with strong academics)
  • Must have the desire to complete accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
  • Must be ambitious and able to work on own initiative
  • Excellent Word and Excel skills Versatile team player – flexible, pragmatic, thorough, proactive and service minded
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a bright and positive outlook.
