NCM is a fast-growing fund administration company based in Edinburgh that offers a 
suite of services for fund managers investing into unlisted assets (predominantly 
property and private equity). NCM is owner-managed with circa 50 employees and a 
year-on-year growing turnover. Over the last three years, it has grown rapidly and 
recently opened a new office in Jersey

Role Overview
NCM Fund Services are looking for an outgoing, highly motivated part-qualified
accountant, or a candidate who wishes to start their accounting exams, who can help 
deliver an excellent level of service to NCM’s clients. They should be comfortable using 
their initiative when required and enjoy the challenge of new learning experiences.
The successful candidate would be working within the finance teams reporting in to their 
finance manager. They will be responsible, both personally and as part of the wider 
team, to liaise and work with clients to prepare the elements of our monthly and 
quarterly financial reporting. 

Key Competencies (depending on candidate experience)
− Preparing payment runs and setting up bank payments online
− Processing of invoices and expenses onto Xero and NCM’s fund administration 
system (FIS Private Capital Suite).
− Liaising with finance team to ensure invoice information is correct and allocated 
accurately, liaising with clients where information is not clear or contradictory
− Ensuring accurate & timely delivery of all reconciliation reports and bank 
payments set up within client and company deadlines
− Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation
− Depending on candidate experience, preparation of quarterly management 
accounts and forecasting for clients

Experience & Qualifications
− Part-qualified accountant or an individual looking to start their accounting 
qualification with prior bookkeeping experience. Experience in financial services, 
particularly private equity is beneficial but not mandatory
− Enthusiasm to learn and confidence to deal with all levels of seniority
− Experience in Microsoft 365 and Xero or equivalent mandatory; Private Capital 
Suite experience is beneficial
− FCA regulatory experience is not necessary.
