Forensic Accountant
What we are looking for:
A bright and enthusiastic individual, who is looking to specialise in providing forensic accounting and valuation services.
The position is ideal for someone who has a good all-round background in audit and accounting and is looking to use those skills in a more investigative environment where every assignment is unique.
You will be involved in a wide variety of work including share and business valuations, fraud investigations, the computation of claims, the assessment of the evidence in criminal matters and other ad hoc investigations.
You will support our development of the forensic team within the Canterbury office, reporting to the managers in the department but with regular partner interaction.
Whilst previous experience would be helpful, full training will be given to the right candidate.
The role is largely office based but will require visits to clients to obtain or investigate accounting information. There may be some travel both between our offices and across the country. In time you may also be required to attend conferences with barristers and solicitors in London and further afield.
You will require good communication skills, an eye for detail and be competent with Excel.
The forensics and valuations team are currently based in Kent but are expected to expand to have a physical presence in other regions in 2023. With a hybrid working environment, candidates based in all our regions will be considered.
Experience:
A good mix of professional experience and understanding of financial accounts.

- Strong attention to detail
- Well presented

- Minimum Requirements: ACA or ACCA part or fully Qualified
