Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a nationwide business based in Stoke-on-Trent. This role will offer a salary up to £26,500 depending on experience.

Page Personnel are working with a highly successful, well known and continuously growing business. Due to this growth, they are looking for a Chargebacks Accounts Assistant to join the team.

Description

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Reverse transactions relating to charged back deposits across multiple payment methods, ensuring outstanding chargeback liabilities are per expected age profile
  • Process daily chargeback files received from a number of card acquirers
  • Ensure customer accounts are set to the correct status per internal procedures
  • Detailed analysis of charged back accounts and updating of control spreadsheets
  • Generate defence bundles to send to card acquirers to challenge financial liability
  • Respond to, and liaise with, banks fraud departments in order to stop chargebacks at source
  • Support with the development of chargeback processes in the United States and other new territories
  • Assist with the creation of a chargebacks reporting pack for management use
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Profile

The candidate will have/be:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
  • A basic knowledge of chargebacks- Required
  • GCSE Maths: C or above - Required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • Flexible to adapt to a hybrid working approach whilst maintaining working standards - Required
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail - Required
  • Ability to work well alone or as part of a team - Required
