About the role:
We are looking to hire an experienced and motivated Bookkeeper for our E-commerce Business. You will be pivotal in ensuring accurate and efficient financial record-keeping for our online business operations. You will be responsible for booking payments with merchant processors, reconciling transactions, and maintaining the integrity of our financial records. Your expertise in e-commerce bookkeeping and attention to detail will be critical in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our business operations.
This will be a Part-Time position. We are looking for someone who can work in the US time zone.

Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
- Manage and book payments with merchant processors, ensuring accurate recording of transactions in the accounting system.
- Reconcile e-commerce transactions, including sales, refunds, fees, and other financial activities, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documents related to e-commerce operations.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as finance, operations, and customer service, to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and provide financial insights.
- Apply strong analytical capabilities to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to e-commerce bookkeeping.
- Uphold a high level of accuracy, diligence, and integrity in financial record-keeping, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Demonstrate excellent English skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience booking payments with merchant processors
- Experience with E-Commerce bookkeeping/operations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial record-keeping
- High level of diligence and integrity in handling financial transactions and maintaining confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal English skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
