Intern - Junior Financial Controller

Imagine yourself as Intern/JuniorFinancial Controller in Necomplus , where along with other financialcontroller, you are responsible for 2 big, 2 mid-size and 2 small entities operatingin Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Dominican Republic, Peru and Columbia. The companyoffers solutions for payment industry including integration services,maintenance services, outsourcing and hardware. Companies employ over 300 people.

You will be reporting toFinance Controlling Manager in Spain and will be responsible for wide area oftasks including group integrated reporting, monthly forecasting, annualbudgeting, business support and planning, controlling, projects controlling,KPIs measurement and other group level add-hoc projects. Regular bookkeepingand payroll is performed by other team and is managed by country FinanceDirector.

Necomplus entities aremembers of Asseco South Eastern Europe Group (ASEE, Group) - an IT companyoperating in 19 countries and employing over 2,400 people. Asseco South EasternEurope is listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Since your holdingcompany is a public entity and a member of a bigger group reportingrequirements are quite complicated, with short deadlines, changing from time totime, and sometimes hard to explain to non-finance managers from your company.

TheGroup implemented and uses a Corporate Performance Management software CCHTagetik which is loaded with data from your local ERP, group CRM and varioustime tracking systems.
You will report directlyto the Finance Controlling Manager in Spain but you will also cooperate closelywith the local Finance Director and Managers of respective business lines.

Main accountabilities:
  • Contribute to the monthly closings, annual strategic planning, budgets and forecasts process through providing data on local business
  • Import data into reporting systems, check and identify anomalies, track correction
  • Calculate variances from the budget and participate in interpreting results
  • Participate in integrated financial reporting and delivery actuals data from ERP to group reporting system
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports to support decision making


About you

Requirements:

Education:
  • Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field

English: Good command of English

Other skills:
  • Excel is a must, knowledge of accounting is mandatory and rest is about being proactive, have critical mind, be good with numbers and organized.
