Your role
Do you have a strong risk and analytical mind and extensive experience in cyber and technology risk management in a large-scale, complex organization either in the technology, risk or in a control function? Are you a leader that is confident when it comes to speaking up for what is right and challenging at all levels?
We are looking for an experienced non-financial risk professional to act as America's and Wealth Management Head of Cyber and Technology Risk in the Group Function and Operational Risk (GF&OR) function. The successful candidate will be required to:
• be responsible for driving a strong cyber and technology risk culture across the Wealth Management Division and the Divisions and Functions of the bank in the CUSO
• provide independent oversight and challenge to the first line of defense for cyber and technology risks and ensure information security and technology-related risks are understood, owned, managed and properly reflected in the Bank's risk appetite assessments and Risk and Control Self Assessments
• Represent the cyber and technology risk function in regulatory interactions and carry out regulatory related reviews, compliance and monitoring activities.
• develop strong working relationships with Wealth Management Technology Management and CUSO regional leadership, highlighting and mitigating technology and cyber specific operational risks and issues, and where required act as an escalation point for significant operational risk issues
• work with a diverse global team of cyber and technology, and extended Group Function & Operational Risk, risk professionals and proactively influence the effective planning and execution of the global cyber and technology risk mandate in the region
Your team
You will be based in either New York or Weehawken New Jersey and will report to the Global Head of Technology Risk Operational Risk Control (ORC) & Global Head Compliance & Operational Risk (C&ORC) for Group Functions. As the America's and Wealth Management Cyber and Technology Head you are responsible for the overall leadership and execution of the Cyber and Technology risk control mandate in the region working in partnership with the Regional and Divisional GF&OR leads

Your expertise
• a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, etc. (or comparable), advanced degree (MBA, MA) is a plus
• strong cyber and technology risk expertise, ideally 10+ years of direct, relevant experience in risk management, technology function or internal audit focused on technology functions.
• strong understanding of IT software development lifecycle (traditional and agile), emerging technologies, Cyber & information security threats, Cloud concepts, DevOps, obsolesces management, technology control landscape and other technology related disciplines
• prior working experience with Risk Control Self-Assessment "RCSA", Risk Appetite
• experience in large digitalization initiatives, SaaS deployments and systems consolidation
• prior working experience, or knowledge, in Wealth Management function and its related products and services is strongly preferred
• professional Certifications e.g. CIA, CRMA, CISA, CRISC, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CET, CCSP is strongly desired
• strong operational risk expertise, ideally 10+ years of direct, relevant experience in risk management or business line operating office with compliance and control disciplines related to the financial services industry
• sound knowledge of industry best practices and the US regulatory environment, and proven experience in interacting with regulators, executing compliance risk reviews and compliance monitoring activities.
• strong risk mindset and experience working in a dynamic and complex matrix organization
• team-orientated mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills, resilient and the ability to manage conflict and pressure in a demanding environment
• able to network and influence across the organization to deliver key business objectives
