The Role:

As our Head of Business Advisory, you will be at the helm of multiple financial operations, reporting directly to our CEO. Your leadership will be instrumental across various sectors, with a focus on financial services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Integration: Direct the seamless integration of operational and accounting systems, ensuring precise financial data.
  2. Financial Reporting: Spearhead the delivery of accurate, timely monthly financial reports, providing insight into key budget variances.
  3. Planning and Analysis: Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis to buttress strategic decision-making.
  4. Performance Reporting: Present comprehensive monthly operational performance metrics, encapsulating efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Default Management: Oversee default management protocols, assuring meticulous tracking, thorough analysis, and strict regulatory compliance.
  6. Management Support: Conduct rigorous evaluations of operational practices and policies, contribute to refining lending criteria and client profiling, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  7. Taxation: Hold responsibility for effective tax planning and steadfast compliance.
  8. Loan Applications: Facilitate business lending applications by meticulously reviewing financial data, conducting intensive interviews, and making informed, right loan recommendations.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Holder of a CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting and finance, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Preferable experience in the lending or insurance industry.
  • Proven analytical, leadership, and decision-making prowess.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience in a client-facing role spanning diverse geographical locations.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple clients and projects concurrently.
  • A results-oriented professional with a proven track record of exceeding KPIs.
  • Capability to inspire and lead a team of professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
