Senior Review Actuary

We're currently recruiting for a Senior Review Actuary to join our Actuarial Review team within the Financial Reporting Centre

Salary: £85,000 - £110,000, Bonus up to 60%, 10% pension contribution, PMI, 38 days holiday

We're currently recruiting for a Senior Review Actuary to join our Actuarial Review team within the Financial Reporting Centre to provide a highly professional actuarial service applying deep technical & business knowledge to aid senior management decision making and to lead others in the actuarial specialism.

In this role the successful applicant will provide oversight over a team of Review Actuaries (Intermediates) to produce the quarterly valuation results and be responsible for gaining sign off of the results across a number of Non Profit and With Profit funds within the Life Company. They will work closely with the other Senior Review in the team, providing them with support in their specialist areas (Matched (annuity), Non Matched (Non-profit) and With Profits). They will take a prominent leadership role, working with senior stakeholders, attend governance committees and provide expert knowledge to support projects from around the business. They will provide a key role in ensuring that the business can meet its solvency requirements and in identifying and supporting management actions and work closely with the Head of Actuarial Review. This role will also give the successful applicant the opportunity to act as business lead across projects. This will be a technical role with no direct management responsibilities to start with but with the opportunity to do so in the future.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a qualified actuary, with at least 5 year post qualified experience. They should have reporting experience, ideally across different product groups.
