Assistant Finance Manager (Manufacturing)(Ipoh)

As an Assistant Finance Manager, this role requires you to be in charge of the full set of accounts, including costing, forecasting, and budgeting. The role is reporting to the Financial Controller.

Description

You will be in charge of:

• Assist with accounting and financial tasks such as budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Maintain records in accounting systems, prepare journal entries and post them
• Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and reporting systems
• Review and approve bills, invoices, and resolve invoicing issues
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned
• Must have Manufacturing experience
• Must be willing to work in Ipoh

Profile

In order for you to be suitable for the role, you must have the followings:

Degree in Finance/Accounting and preferably with professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc...) 4-5 years of experience in finance & accounting within the manufacturing industry Must be hands-on in financial reportingStrong sense of responsibility, independence, and motivationAbility to provide insightful insights and recommendations for improvement
