Client Details

Our client is a leading apparel business with 100 percent foreign investment that exports 100% of it's products to the US Market. Our client is searching for a strong individual to join the organisation and deliver value to reach their business goal as part of their renewed growth strategy for 2023.

Description

The key requirements of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising the group consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business planning for the Business Unit.

• Being able to assess and address financial, operational, and strategic challenges in line with corporate objectives, provide financial analysis and report to top management.

• Controlling the auditing process, statutory reporting, and tax filings; communicating with tax departments, regulatory agencies, and auditors.

• Implement & Enforce the Group's reporting system, risk management, and financial policies and processes in accordance with all laws and standards.

• Collaborating closely on SAP structure and control with our internal SAP consultant.

• Managing the Finance Team's day-to-day activities.

Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• Finance/Accounting degree holder or possessing comparable professional credentials.
• Must at least 5 years of experience working as a finance manager in the apparel industry.
• Thorough familiarity with the fundamentals of budgeting, cost control, accounting, and generally accepted accounting standards.
• Practical understanding of forecasting, rolling budgets, and short- and long-term budgeting
• Strong analytically and business sense, with the ability to lead teams to work effectively and efficiently and manage several tasks under pressure.
• Understanding listed company compliance.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and capacity for pressure.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
