The opportunity:

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to train for a Professional Qualification in our Nicosia offices, in Strategy and Transactions Service line.

The team:

We are the fastest growing, established, Strategy and Transactions (SaT) department in Cyprus and we are contacting you as we are seeking to recruit all-rounded and results-driven graduates who prioritise learning and self-improvement, do not hesitate to step out of their comfort zone and develop their skill-set continuously. Over the years we have remained at the forefront of all major transactions in Cyprus, being involved in a variety of sectors, such as Banking, Real Estate and Hospitality. We closely collaborate with our global network, which provides for opportunities, knowledge and expertise beyond our local boundaries.

We help businesses grow, develop, become healthier, align with best practices, exploit opportunities and manage their capital successfully by providing a wide range of services, from strategic advice to transaction support.

Our core services include the following:

  • Strategy:We help clients to understand the market in which they compete and their positioning within it.We analyze fundamentals such as market size, growth rate, and competitive share by segment. We assess the company’s performance and identify potential areas where the business may have competitive advantage. We also assist clients in identifying opportunities to improve the roadmap for how products and services reach customers including decisions related to route-to-market, channel selection, pricing optimization, and customer segmentation.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions/ Capital raising: On the sell-side, we advise and assist clients in the divestment process either with sell mandates, partial sell down of equity, exit preparation and business planning. On the buy-side, we assist corporate clients to grow inorganically / realize synergies through acquisition, including analyzing client operations to identify opportunities, advising on potential acquisition target criteria, identifying potential targets and advising clients on target approach. We also provide capital and debt advisory to help clients determine the right capital objectives and strategy, select the right debt and equity products and providers, and transact on the best terms.
  • Transaction Diligence: Financial due diligence service to acquirer or investor with respect to transactions and others who require financial diligence applied to a business/asset/undertaking in order to make informed capital allocation decision.
  • Valuations, Modelling & Economics:Advice in relation to the value of business or intangible asset(s) in connection with proposed commercial transaction, restructuring, strategic decisions or the setting of compensations. We build business models that could represent dynamic projections of operations or financial performance, based on a set of assumptions about the business.
  • Restructuring: Advice and assistance generally provided to banks and other lenders/investors, where they have concerns over their exposure to a company or group. This includes business and strategic reviews, liquidation analysis, entity priority analysis. Advice also provided to companies experiencing distress related to options on business/strategic reviews, business closures/downsizing, short-term cash requirements, debt restructuring, acquisitions and divestitures.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Strong Bachelor ‘s degree from a reputable University with grades:
    • 7.5/10 University of Cyprus & Greek Universities
    • 2:1 UK Universities
    • 3.5/4 Universities from United States
    • 3.5/4 Other Local Private Universities
  • Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).


Skills and attributes for success:

  • A high standard of spoken and written Greek and English is essential.
  • Knowledge of the Russian language will be favourably considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team working skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to high quality results and accuracy.
  • Ideally, you will also have:
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
