Internship for Accounting

AMOREPACIFIC MALAYSIA is looking for an Accounting Intern to join us.

This role is responsible for practicing your accounting knowledge and skills in a professional setting. 

You will play an important role, such as:

• Prepare AP reconciliation and AP Aging reports to ensure payment is not overdue.
• To categorize and capture the weekly vendor invoices / billing into the system.
• On-time checking and capturing employees' claims for payment preparation within the given deadline.
• Timely clearing of temporary accounts and ensure all to be cleared by month end.
• Send reminder for outstanding invoices and request Statement of Accounts (SOA).
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance
• Assist with Landlord reconciliation.
• Prepare prepayment schedule, and make necessary journal entries.
• Responsible to upload daily sales report into general system.
• Maintain systematic workflows and filing system.
• Assist with filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ensure documents from vendors are accurate and sufficient eg supplier invoices, tax invoices and delivery note.
• Strong support to the Accounting Team as they perform their duties.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Must Haves:

• Candidates must possess at least a post Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): MS Word, MS Excel.
• Intern position(s) available.
