The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a professional to strengthen our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. In your new role, you will work closely with our clients, advising on diverse projects falling under the CFO agenda:

• Participate in diagnostic initiatives to assess current finance/ treasury processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• This also includes the introduction and further development of accounting / reporting / treasury tools to support the optimization of client’s respective processes.
• Assist clients with the design and the application of improvements in the internal control environment.
• Advise clients with various reporting financial or non-financial requirements and related disclosures, including corporate and ESG related reporting.
• Analyze complex data to provide insights to clients regarding performance and trends to support reporting needs or as part of business transactions.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Excellent academic background including a bachelor and/or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other appropriate academic major
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in a Finance / Treasury or Controlling oriented role within a well-established company or a consulting firm.
• Professional accountancy qualification or working towards gaining one (ACCA, ACA, CFA, CMA, CIMA, ACT) nice to have
• Have a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes (e.g., record-to-report, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, payments etc.) as well as interlinkage with other finance processes and related risk controls
• Previous experience in finance transformation and process improvement initiatives will be highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills that enable you to think out of the box and come with good ideas to help our clients address their complex accounting questions.
• Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English and the ability to explain specialized concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality and accuracy
• Ability to work under tight timelines.
• Flexibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements both locally and internationally
