Get to know the Role:

We are incredibly excited to build a digital bank with the right foundation and core values. We are currently looking for results driven and highly motivated individuals to form the Finance team. If you have what it takes, we would love to hear from you.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Manage projects related to profitability reporting across all phases of project life cycle including (but not limited to) design of technical requirements, risk & mitigation plans, issue resolution, UAT and execution, identify interdependencies across other work streams within Finance department; where appropriate, manages communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Set up infrastructure for monthly reporting, forecast and budget exercise
  • Set up reporting templates for each product lines (Retail), business function (SME) and support department
  • To work with Treasurer to establish the Funds Transfer Pricing mechanism
  • To work with business heads on product pricing
  • Identify appropriate KPIs for each business/product lines
  • Establish cost allocation framework across lines of business and products
  • Review and analyse monthly performance
  • Review full year forecast against targets set and identify gaps
  • Annual budget preparation by business lines and support functions
  • Periodic review of workflow processes with the objective to improve productivity and efficiency

The must haves:

  • At least 6-10 years of working experience in business finance
  • Exposure to consumer banking business finance is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related fields
  • Experience in profitability reporting would be an added advantage
  • Experience in working with cross border and functional teams
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to plan and execute while maintaining effective working relationships
  • Able to work under pressure
