Based in Dublin, this role will be part of our Strategic Projects team where you’ll be responsible for ensuring that both our margin and inventory reporting are fit for scale both now, and as we grow in like with our ambitious expansion plans. You will play an integral part of the successful delivery of these projects to ensure that the business is supported by a best-in-class margin and inventory reporting environment.

What we’re looking for

Attention to detail: You will develop a strong understanding of our systems and application landscape along with the margin and inventory accounting processes within the business.

Project Management: You will be part of the team that is responsible for delivering projects the re-defines the cost structure of our inventory, implanting a new sales and margin reporting process as we move to a new cost-based accounting inventory valuation model within the business.

Confident communicator: You will be working in implementation of these key projects, working cross functionally across Finance, Technology, Buying & Merchandising and Planning & Space teams, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business.

Process Driven: A key aspect of the role will be developing accounting policies for Primark, as well as supporting on technical accounting issues as they may arise within the projects
