About the role

We are looking either Associate, Fund Accounting assists the Senior Accountant to encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of funds.

Key responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Gain a good understanding of the client business and keep senior staff updated on any potential issues identified during the processing of the information provided by the client
• Accounting & analysis:

1. Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers
2. Prepare financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements
3. Prepare investor allocations
4. Prepare trial balances and work paper product
5. Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries
6. Involved within a full scope of transaction activities including full cycle accounting
7. Prepare financial data analysis

• Coordination and preparation of monthly Instalment Activity Statements (“IAS”) and monthly or quarterly Business Activity Statements (“BAS”) for Senior review before sending these to the client for approval
• Review funds’ partnership agreements, trust deeds and PPM’s and other documents
• Participate in the implementation of fund structures into the accounting system
• Act as a liaison with various internal /external parties – i.e. auditors, legal counsel
• Assist in client audit procedures
• Process wire transfer payments on behalf of clients
• Liaise with property management companies

About You

If you also have the following attributes, then we would love to hear from you:

• Degree holder with recognized accounting qualification or business related disciplines
• Minimum 1 years relevant experience in professional firms or multinationals
• FRESH GRADUATE WELCOME TO APPLY
• Pursuing Professional qualifications in CA or CPA
• Experience in accounting/tax/banking procedures
• Sound knowledge of local accounting practices
• Good command of both spoken and written English
