Client Details
Our client is one of the strongest market players in their industry.
Description
- Overseeing accounting day-to-day accounting functions and ensure processes and procedures are complied with.
- Monitors weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash flow planning and forecast.
- Conduct monthly cost analysis and variance reports.
- Establish and maintain good rapport with external auditors, tax agents, banks and government agencies and board request.
- Undertake all ad hoc assignments or restructuring of portfolio as directed by the management from time to time.
- Responsible for timely and accurate monthly financial closing, prompt preparation and review of monthly/periodic management reports and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Lead and work with the team to perform accounts payable and accounts receivable, perform monthly account reconciliations, and monitor general ledger transactions.
- Responsible to review and prepare financial statements and support the annual statutory audit (month-end financial close, tax filing/reporting, and compliance with the local tax authority)
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting for the Company (AP, AR, GL, Billing, bank recon, cash application, collection etc)
Profile
- Degree in accountancy or equivalent, Candidates possess ACCA would have added advantage
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a managerial position or equivalent, and handled full set of accounts.
- Good working knowledge of statutory requirement, financial reporting standards and up-to-date and sound financial practices
- Able to meet tight deadlines
- Mature, independent, and a self-starter who can produce results with minimum supervision
- Meticulous, good numerical sense and comfortable with handling huge data sets
- Strong organisational, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
- A great team player and have experience working alongside Finance Shared Service team located in overseas
- Bilingual
- Experience with NetSuite software will be highly desirable.
- Sharp eye for details, accuracy, analytical, familiar with computer-aided account systems
