Accounts Assistant Intern
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant Intern to join our finance team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop a strong foundation in accounting and finance. You will work closely with the accounting team, supporting various financial tasks and contributing to the smooth operation of our finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Help prepare financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including tracking payments and following up on outstanding invoices.
- Support the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial tasks.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (knowledge of accounting software is a plus).
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop accounting and finance knowledge.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
