Management Accountant

Genzed Technologies Ltd is a UK-based Consultancy business whose aim is to introduce the right processes and technology into the businesses we work with, in order to help them identify efficiencies, get real-time information and make decisions based on the accounting data we provide. We are a growing company who is working with UK based Advertising and Software businesses. We work with creative and technology businesses who are always a pleasure to work with. 

Due to growth, we are looking to hire a Management Accountant who can help provide the support the management team need. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to learn and grow with the business.

Working hours: 8am – 5pm UK time Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare cashflow forecasts.
  • Support with ad hoc reports.
  • Prepare UK VAT returns.
  • Payroll preparation.
  • Enter purchase invoices into Xero.
  • Raise sales invoices in Xero.
  • Fully responsible for bank reconciliations for allocated clients.
  • Suggest improvements and efficiencies.
  • Monitor the expenses of clients.
  • Manage Accounts Payable process.
  • Credit Control.
  • Any other tasks assigned by management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience using Xero.
  • Must be studying or completed ACCA/CIMA/AAT/ACA. A minimum of 4 papers completed.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of software in accounting space.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Ability to use their own initiative.
  • Ability to work autonomously, without much supervision is critical.
  • Should be fluent in English both oral and written.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Attention to detail.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of working for Advertising or Software businesses.
  • Part qualified Accountant.
  • Knowledge of UK tax.
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK businesses.
  • Experience working with a UK business.
