Description
- Review and assessment of the effectiveness of processes and controls in achieving risk, control and compliance objectives.
- To co-ordinate and facilitate the remediation of control weaknesses identified through first, second and third line assurance activities.
- To co-ordinate and facilitate the design and implementation of controls required to achieve risk, control and compliance objectives.
- Review the operation of controls and compliance with process requirements.
- Provide feedback, training and coaching to support the effective operation of controls and compliance with requirements.
- Deliver training sessions and facilitate workshops
- To maintain and update process and control documentation to reflect business change
- To perform first line control monitoring, compliance reviews, continuous control monitoring / data analytics
- To perform first line assurance and control health checks
- To facilitate implementation and operation of control self-assessment
Profile
Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience of working with Source to Pay processes and controls ideally within a large regulated organisation or consultancy/advisory organisation. Exposure to best practice Source to Pay process and controls implementation or operation.
- Minimum 3 years' experience of financial and regulatory processes and controls (which can be assurance / advisory / consultancy / operations), ideally in a regulated environment.
Qualifications
- Either an accountancy qualification (such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA), an assurance qualification such as IIA, a risk management certification such as IRM, or a relevant degree combined with qualification by experience are desirable. (Non accountancy qualifications must be supported by a minimum of three years financial control experience).
