Who we are looking for:
A Fund Accounting Manager, Officer who holds a key position within State Street Bank with responsibilities including, but not limited to, people management, administration, operations support, projects, product development and driving productivity. Fund Accounting Manager, Officer is expected to lead Operations teams in servicing clients.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior Fund Accounting Manager you will:

  • Provide managerial oversight of Operations for respective Fund Accounting Team in Poland
  • Ensure delivery standards to all contacts are consistently achieved in line with department policies, Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Issue resolution - identify and address barriers impacting delivery and initiate corrective actions as needed
  • Act as liaison/escalation point between operations, senior management, and relevant contacts
  • Administration: included Key Performance Indicators and reporting, workload allocation, attendance, holiday planning, overtime budget, mandatory training, efficiency/organic growth, Reward and Recognition, etc.
  • Drive productivity and product development designed to create capacity, remove redundant activities, and optimize efficiency
  • Talent development and planning: ensure knowledge progression and staff development (technical and soft skills), including participation in projects outside regular team assignments
  • Provide support and coverage to Senior Fund Accounting Manager
  • Act on ad-hoc duties as assigned

What we value

  • Comprehensive procedural, technical and product knowledge of the Investor Services business with a strong understanding of Fund Accounting, Custody and Regulatory background to Funds Industry.
  • Knowledge of systems, including Microsoft Office applications, is required
  • Business related degree preferable

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically candidate for the AVP role will have 4+ years experience within Fund Accounting Administration Services or other Financial Services focus
  • Ability to articulate with global teams and stakeholders to resolve inquiries and understanding when and where to escalate
  • University degree or equivalent experience - professional background with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related Business fields
