You’ll be responsible for creating and implementing an audit and risk control framework for internal IT systems, as well as monitoring integrity, risk exposure and potential weaknesses.

What you’ll achieve

As an Advisor, Information Systems and Security Audit, you will be responsible for assessing and reviewing IT SOX controls. You will work with an incredible technical audit team, stakeholder across our IT and Security organizations on the Dell IT SOX Program.

You will:

  • Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT control assessments
  • Partner with stakeholders in presenting IT SOX requirements, assessment approach, scope and findings
  • Preparatory assessment of significant systems identification, analysis and classification systems for appropriate SOX classification
  • Evaluate complex information systems and controls including but not limited to applications, business control processes, change control management procedures, security, networks, and computer and data center operations
  • Works on unusually complex and sensitive problems and provides state-of the art solutions that are highly creative

Here’s what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT SOX Audit
  • Strong IT controls and business acumen
  • Strong technical skills around controls, process, accounting and IT
  • Experience testing Interfaces, ITGC and Automated controls
  • Strong understanding of the Standards for the professional Practice of Internal Auditing and of IT Audit Standards
  • Knowledge of the operation of network device databases and identity management systems
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between the key financial systems and their impact to the financial statements
  • Knowledge of General Accepted Privacy Practices (GAPP) and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)

Desirable Requirements

  • Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) desired but not essential
