Procure to Pay / Accounts Payable team maintains relationships with vendors assuring that documentation is properly maintained from reception till payment. The team takes ownership of invoices with a cost allocation focus (processing and resolution, including intercompany) as well as payments and is a key point of contact for our local suppliers. The daily duties also cover performing month-end closing activities (incl. GL/AP, GR/IR reconciliations) and vendor statement reconciliation.

You choose your workplace - you can work from home or from our modern office in the centre of Gdańsk, in the Tryton office building. However, we assume the need to come to the office three times a month to maintain a balance between our online and offline relations.

Your responsibilities:

  • leading, managing and developing PTP team,
  • workload management – process control, objectives delegation and execution,
  • managing the operations of PTP team including target setting, tasks assigning, absences etc.,
  • managing escalations and quality issues,
  • regular analysis of the KPI and creating proper action plans to reach target levels,
  • evaluate and monitor internal control processes and procedures to improve productivity and effectiveness,
  • cooperation with Finance Process Manager regarding development and improvement of PTP processes,
  • initiation of activities related to process improvement and scope extension within GSS PTP,
  • assure alignment and seamless collaboration within the process and with internal and external stakeholders,
  • coordination of other activities of the SSC with partners (country units managers, leaders of individual departments, etc.).

Our requirements:

  • a few years of people management experience in SSC environment in AP/AR department and can build and develop teams - must have,
  • a degree in finance and accounting or a certification confirming accounting knowledge,
  • advanced level of English,
  • very good knowledge of Office tools,
  • being a team player who feel well being part of the group (we believe in open communication and possibility to accomplish greater results as a team),
  • excellent communication skills & customer focus,
  • ability to quickly analyze eventual problems so that immediate resolution can be undertaken,
  • being dynamic, innovative and problem resolution focused,

  • ability to work in the office in Gdańsk 3 times a month,
  • optional IFS knowledge - nice to have.
