RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining the administration of supplier relationships and resolving match exception issues;
  • Verifying supplier invoices for compliance and accuracy; Processing invoices, credits, and payments to suppliers; Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements;
  • Assisting Fastenal stores, vendors, and others with correct invoicing requirements;
  • Identifying and implementing procedural improvements to enhance efficiency;
  • Planning and organizing activities to complete assigned tasks on time with a high level of accuracy;
  • Completing special projects and other administrative tasks.

 

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

Possess or are working towards a degree in Accounting OR have relevant work experience; Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language; Proficient using Microsoft Office; Demonstrate strong organization, planning, prioritizing abilities, and attention to detail; Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and analytical skills; Possess math aptitude and basic knowledge of Accounting principles; Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment; Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork. Must live or relocate to Johor due to use of company equipment.

 

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working in Accounts Payable; Proficient using PeopleSoft.
