Assistant Accountant (FMCG)

Our client is a listed FMCG company with a wide range of brands under their portfolio and they are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join them.

About the job

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of the GL function and oversee the AP and AR functions. You will also be responsible for preparing weekly cash flow report, forecasting and budgeting, preparation of balance sheet schedules, month end closing and annual financial packages. In addition you will be in charge of company's Fixed Asset Register and assist in new processes and system implementation projects when required. The ideal candidate is one who is a team player, receptive to learning and is resilient.

Skills and experience required

A recognised degree in accounting or ACCA or relevant with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
