A global market leader in a complex but exciting industry, this business based in Chester is recruiting for a Finance Manager to join an established accountancy function and oversee the day to day finance transactions as well as monthly reporting. This company has operations across over 10 countries and works with some of the world's top blue chip companies.

Description

As Finance Manager reporting to an impressive FC, your role will be to:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting results to the board

• Maintaining the balance sheet accounts

• Consolidating the accounts for the group as well as managing intercompany recharges

• Supporting internal and external audits

• Working closely with the finance business partners to prepare rolling forecasts

• Cash flow forecasting and developing management information

• Managing the AP function

• Maintenance of the fixed asset register

• Corporation tax, VAT returns

• Managing a team of three - setting targets, training and development

Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Part qualified / finalist level of CIMA / ACCA

• Strong academic background

• Strong analytical skills with experience ideally within a large company / PLC

• Management accounts knowledge is essential as well as knowledge of VAT, tax

• A progressive individual and a desire to take on more responsibility

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• Management experience would be beneficial

• Advanced Excel skills

Job Offer

• Salary up to £35,000
