This role will support the implementation of Corporate Compliance Program and enhance the ethics and compliance culture for the company's manufacturing site. This includes business partnering with stakeholders to communicate and train employees on compliance program requirements. Moreover, it offers the opportunity to be involved in all elements of a Compliance Program, such as risk assessment, training, monitoring, investigation, third-party due diligence.

Description

  • Develop an annual plan to increase awareness and build the ethics and compliance program and culture at the site.
  • Create detailed implementation and communication plans to execute identified initiatives.
  • Develop Corporate Compliance materials that will increase employees' understanding of company's Corporate Compliance program requirements, including policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Deliver compliance training to stakeholders
  • Track the completion status of Compliance online training modules and ensure their timely completion.
  • Identify compliance risks and develop and track risk mitigation action plans.
  • Provide guidance on due diligence process and requirements and conduct due diligence on Third Parties.
  • Review vendor master records to ensure due diligence screening is complete.
  • Assist in investigations for potential breaches of Conduct of Conduct, policies and procedures, and US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring reviews, track progress and completion of remediation actions, and participate in supplier reviews.
  • Provide guidance on identifying social responsibility initiatives and compile requests for review by the Grants Committee.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or law.
  • Approximately 5 or more years of work experience.
  • At least two years of experience in implementing an ethics and compliance program for a multinational organization.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits and/or investigations (Preferred).
  • Experience in the medical device/biotechnology/pharmaceutical/life-science industry
  • Strong customer focus, work ethic and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong critical thinking with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent business communication report writing skills.
  • Must be self-directed, proactive, motivated and fast learner.
  • Able to work independently.
