Client Details
A growing West Sussex based organisation is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full time permanent basis.
Description
As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining cash book and bank reconciliations, updating Sage system
- Upload customer invoices, distribute statements and monitor credit control
- Ensure all supplier invoices are approved, input and statement reconciles
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation
- Accruals, prepayments and month end journals
- Payroll journal and reconcile all balance sheets accounts
- Petty Cash reconciliation
- Reconciliation of intercompany balances
- Prepare monthly management accounts and KPI reports
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and performance monitoring
- Prepare VAT returns
- Prepare month end payroll.
Profile
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT
- Car driver
- Small to medium enterprise background
- Good Excel skills and accountancy software
