INDUSTRY TAX MANAGER ROLE Who you will be working with: Abacus Professional Recruitment has been chosen by a leading manufacturing firm who operate across Europe, North America, Africa and Australasia. Our client has recently doubled in size as a result of significant acquisitions and are now seeking to recruit a Tax Manager. This is a great opportunity to join a world-class organisation who are recruiting a number of jobs in Belfast at present and currently employ 3,000 people across the globe. Salary: £35,000 - £45,000. What you will do: An opportunity has arisen for a Tax Manager to join the in-house group tax team of an international group. Predominantly responsible for managing the group's UK tax affairs, including corporation tax compliance and tax accounting under IFRS, duties also extend to transfer pricing and supporting cross-border transactions, working on acquisitions and group reorganisations, some corporate governance responsibilities and also liaising with the group's network of overseas finance managers. What do we look for? The ideal candidate should be a corporate tax specialist with relevant post qualified tax experience (ACA and/or CTA). Knowledge and experience of the UK corporation tax regime is essential whilst experience of international taxation, indirect taxes and employment taxes would be desirable. Strong project management and tax technical skills will be required combined with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn. This is a varied role and requires a flexible individual who relishes working in an environment of growth and transformation.
