Accounting Officer (Claims & Collections; Trade Spend)

The role will be working under the finance & control team, closely partnering with offshore Shared Services Centre and to provide accounting support related to total trade spend (TTS).  He / she will be handling claims & collections, payment settlement as well as assisting in daily accounting & related administrative operations. Detailed job scope is as follows:-

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders incl. sales team of different business units within Nestle, key accounts clients and direct customers
• Follow best practices of total trade spend accrual and settlement
• System maintenance of promotion discount
• Prepare and control budget & forecast
• Ensure all AR activities to be executed in timely & accurate manner
• Prepare regular financial reporting & other management reports as required
• Perform data analysis and provide insights to improve ROI
• Maintain statutory accounting standards, liaise with internal / external auditors
• Engage in process improvement projects or other ad hoc projects as assigned

What will make you successful

• Higher Diploma or above in Accountancy or business related disciplines
• At least 2 years’ accounting experiences
• Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good analytical mind
• Detail minded, with good time management and able to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office and well versed in EXCEL, good knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
