Enterprise Risk Management Consultant

As ERM Consultant for the Region West, you are responsible for the investigation and monitoring of the local and regional risk control processes and pro-actively propose and implement applicable improvement plans.

As part of the risk control responsibility, you will be involved in the design, implementation, and execution of the Risk Control Framework in all of its elements and aspects, with a focus on the German region. Besides that, you will also be involved in investigating operational risk incidents and policy compliance. You contribute to a sound risk culture with customer focus which should result in a high quality, effective and efficient risk control framework to safeguard that processes are managed within the Regional risk appetite and policies.

You are located in Dusseldorf, with possible regular travel to our Eindhoven office.

Day to day:

  • Initiate and coordinate improvements based on monitoring activities that you undertake
  • Lead- and or actively participate in projects
  • Work independently and based on the goals of the role of ERM consultant, pro-actively provide advice to stakeholders based on process improvement findings
  • Execute monitoring and control activities in line with the agreed planning cycle (collect relevant information, analyse and report)
  • Liaise and work together with many different (international) stakeholders
  • Investigate if Key Controls are in place and executed with acceptable quality levels
  • Support management with the execution of improvements plans and initiate improvement actions
  • Support / execute external audits for billing and collection mandates and well as rental feed audits, investigate and report on the findings

Essentials:

  • Master’s degree with at least 3 years of working experience in the risk / financial domain.
  • Relevant experience with risk control frameworks and the implementation thereof.
  • Interest and experience in process optimization / process management and risk control
  • Excellent communication skills and customer facing experience.
  • Able to organize and plan diverse set of required activities.
  • Commercial, analytical, innovative, and entrepreneurial
  • Decisiveness and persuasiveness
  • Empathic and good at building relationships
  • Fluent in German and English
