Accountant Graduate Apprentice

You will be gaining valuable workplace experience including management of multi-currency bank accounts, maintaining fixed asset registers and analysing costs against budget and forecasts. 

Duties include;

• Support and embrace continuous improvement culture.
• Support preparation of monthly reporting submitted to corporate reporting team.
• Intercompany reporting and reconciliations, including recharges between entities and posting of invoices.
• Management of a number of multi-currency bank accounts including revaluation and reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset register.
• Preparation of journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analysis of costs against budget and forecasts.
• Supporting the accounting and submission of VAT, Intrastat and EC sales (3 registrations).
• Support FP&A team in preparing forecasts and budgets.
• Ensuring strict adherence to internal controls.
• Support group tax team for tax return preparation and tax analysis.
• Produce KPIs for various parts of finance.
• Any other adhoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications required:

• Degree preferably in Accountancy or Business and Finance.

Skills required:

• Microsoft Office; in particularly immediate to advance.
• Excel skills Spanish, German, French or Mandarin language skills desirable.
• Experience of industry desirable.
