Role:

The Senior Assessor role is a key part of the Arvato UK delivery team who provide high value business services to our Central Government clients.  You will a qualified finance professional looking for the opportunity to shape and exciting and dynamic service.  That service will see us undertake a financial viability and risks assessment of companies who are tendering to undertake government work. 

Arvato will review those companies, in line with agreed business processes and assessment criteria, to provide an evaluation to the client which confirms the solvency, stability and viability of the companies.  Our Senior Assessors will be responsible for the more dynamic and challenging assessments as well as leading and developing the rest of the team. 

This is a new service and a new client so a fast paced and dynamic environment is assured, and we will ask you to play a key role in developing our service, team and client relationship. 

Primary Accountabilities and Deliverables:

The FVRA Financial Analyst will be responsible for reviewing all evaluations which are completed by our service ahead of submission to the client.

The team of 3 Financial Analysts will ensure that agreed business processes and procedures have been fully applied and that the evaluation outcome is correct and supported by evidence.

The Financial Analyst will develop full expertise in the financial viability and risk assessment business processes and procedures and will support and advise the team undertaking the assessors.

The business process is to include the need for Arvato to make risk-based judgements and the senior assessors will lead on the basis on their knowledge and expertise as finance professionals.

Other responsibilities will include.

  • Constructive engagement with our senior clients to build long lasting and effective relationships. Achieve service levels and key performance indicators for this service. Be committed to continuous improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Undertake continuous professional development, with the support of Arvato, to maintain and extend knowledge and capability. Supporting, coaching, and leading your team to achieve quality and timescale targets.

Experience:

The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional who is CCAB (Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies) certified;

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail, whilst still being able to see the ‘bigger picture’. Ability to liaise with non-financial staff in a concise and clear manner. Strong communication skills. Team player with a ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ approach.

Working Relationships & Interfaces:

The FVRA Financial Analyst will work closely with:

  • The FVRA Team Manager Client process owners. The FVRA delivery team.

Relevant Qualifications:

The FVRA Financial Analyst will be CCAB (Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies) certified;

  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Association of International Accountants (AIA) Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA)
