The Role:
An experienced financial professional to provide management and leadership for a team of Consultants who are responsible for providing excellent customer service support to our customers predominantly via the telephone but also by email and back-office activities in regard to any queries or issues they may have regarding products and services. The team is paramount to ensuring that all customers are provided with an exceptional level of customer service during every interaction. The role holder is responsible for ensuring organisational and performance targets are met. Ensuring staff adherence to procedures and processes from an arvato and client perspective. Managing staff in line with company policies and developing an environment in which staff within the team constantly strive to improve individual performance.
Primary Accountabilities and Deliverables:
The primary responsibility will be to lead and develop the team to provide effective financial services to our central government client within agreed processes, budgets and timescales.
Other responsibilities will include;
- Constructive engagement with our senior clients to build long lasting and effective relationships. Use your expertise and experience to grow and develop colleagues. Be committed to continuous improvement so as to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain a trained and engaged team of assessors to ensure effective delivery. Undertake continuous professional development, with the support of Arvato, to maintain and extend knowledge and capability. Supporting, coaching, and leading your team to achieve quality and timescale targets. The ability to engage with our client to develop a pipeline of business activity and volumes.
Experience:
The successful candidate will be an experienced manager who had led within an accounting or financial delivery service.
- Be CCAB (Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies) certified. Good IT skills. Good analytical skills and attention to detail, whilst still being able to see the ‘bigger picture’. Ability to liaise with non-financial staff in a concise and clear manner. Strong communication skills. Team player with a ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ approach.
Working Relationships & Interfaces:
The FVRA Team Manager will be a key member of Operations Management Team (public sector) and work closely with;
- The Operations Director (Public Sector) The lead Central Government Clients Fellow Arvato Finance professionals
Relevant Qualifications:
The FVRA team manager will be CCAB (Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies) certified;
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Association of International Accountants (AIA) Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA)
