Day to day duties

As part of your role as Banking & Finance Director you will be responsible for winning debt advisory work from both Azets Clients and the local business community. You will work towards an annual fee target and also be adept at bringing in new work for colleagues. Ideally you will have lending or credit experience and be able to assess a Client’s funding requirements before writing a proposal and approaching lenders in a structured manner. A good knowledge of risk and compliance is essential.

You will have strong inter-personal skills and be able to build working relationships both inside the firm and externally to promote both the Banking & Finance service line and the wider Azets brand. Excellent communication skills are essential and you will offer strategy and direction for the wider business, as well as promote the existing “strategic partnerships” that the firm have for the benefit of Clients.

You will work closely with colleagues from the local Azets offices and other service lines. A strong business development ethos is required and you will be tasked to seek out new opportunities for the firm as well as ensuring that you are alive to other areas we can assist existing Clients.
