The Financial Reporting Supervisor will lead and supervise internal accounting team to ensure timely and accurate company's reporting and accounting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures financial reports are timely and accurately prepared, reviewed and submitted.
- Prepares comprehensive monthly management reports as required by local management and regional,
- Guides accounting staff by coordinating and prioritizing their activities.
- Reviews balance sheet accounts reconciliation and takes corrective action as needed,
- Gathers data and information needed to prepare tax returns, liase with tax return preparer, processes tax payments.
- Maintains internal controls by designing, recommending, and implementing policies and procedures,
- Ensures adherence to the company's policies, procedures, and practices,
- Manages, reports, and analyzes account receivables metrics.
- Assists with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections, analyzes variances.
- Ensures financial data integrity and completeness.
- Coordinates and supervises the completion of annual financial audits (internal and external).
- Undertake ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required
Key Requirements
- The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CPA or CPA candidate is preferred).
- Experience in a senior leadership role within an industry leading global service is desirable.
- Proven experience in developing authentic successful stakeholder relationships.
- Proven experience in managing and developing operational teams.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Experience of operating within a heavily regulated environment.
- Strong planning, problem-solving and organizational skills and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously across multiple locations.
- Process analysis/improvement experience will be advantageous.
- Software implementation experience is desirable.
- Advanced level knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Viewpoint, QuickBooks, and One Stream is and advantage.
- First class communication and influencing skills are essential.
