Job Description

The primary objective of the Junior Financial Analyst role is to provide the assigned region with support across management and general accounting, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and the conversion of data into management information

What you'll be doing?
  • Support month/year end close activities ensuring financial data is accurate and in line with Experian's accounting policies and IFRS
  • Compliance with all local regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Be responsible for selected balance sheet accounts and providing detailed, complete and informative balance sheet reconciliations/analysis
  • Support the forecast process for a respective area
  • Provide pre-defined (monthly, quarterly and annual) and ad hoc management information reports with accurate views of its financial performance and insight/commentary as necessary. Scrutiny and alignment of data from a variety of sources to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting
  • Support in the development and control of the annual operating budget within the asigned region / area, aiming to ensure that all financial targets are met and that financial and statutory obligations are complied with.
  • Identify the most effective strategies to deliver cost savings/efficiencies across the area of support, balancing EBIT and with revenue growth, capital expenditure, prioritisation of major projects and business case reviews.
  • Contributing to the optimisation of current processes and demonstrating continuous improvement mindset
  • Work within and support the framework of policies, procedures and standards which supports the delivery of accountabilities/responsibilities.
  • Comply with appropriate information security, resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements.


Qualifications

What you'll bring
  • 1-2 years of accounting and commercial experience gained in an international or global business in a complex, matrix environment
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Finance/Business related degree
  • Awareness of business planning techniques and tools - needed to support forecasting and budget process
  • Proactivity and ability to work independently over the required tasks in the assigned area
  • Able to prioritize own tasks and supports other more junior team members with prioritization
  • Good communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across diverse groups and across different countries
  • Good relationship building skills and ability to create partnerships with stakeholders and teams
  • Very good level of in English
  • Team player
