Are you a talented and ambitious tax professional with a passion for helping organisations achieve their tax objectives? We are seeking a Group Tax Accountant to join our team on a 6-9 month fixed-term contract and support the Group Tax Manager and Indirect Tax Manager in delivering our group tax strategy. The salary is up to £50,000 depending on skills, experience and level of qualification.
About the Role...
As a Group Tax Accountant, you will report to the Group Indirect Tax Manager and the Group Direct Tax Manager, and be responsible for UK tax compliance and providing support and guidance to UK and overseas entities for direct and indirect taxes. Your responsibilities include reviewing PSA and VAT submissions, preparing corporate tax computations, maintaining transfer pricing documentation, preparing tax packs, forecasting ETR and cash tax, responding to queries, improving processes, liaising with advisors, evaluating tax relief opportunities, developing training materials, and reviewing systems for Senior Accounting Officer submission.

About You...
- ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of working with or within a finance department of a multinational company
- Tax knowledge preferred
- Self-starter with ability to exercise initiative and judgement to resolve problems
- Plan and prioritise own work, adapting as necessary to achieve objectives
- Interacts with a wide range of contacts across departments and external advisors
